DavOr Favorite Foods

My Favorite Foods in Davao Oriental

Balut

Balut is a developing bird embryo that is boiled and eaten from the shell.

When I went home to our province during weekdays, my tongue always excites me the taste of my favorite food. since birth, it was my favorite food to eat during night. I love its juicy fluid and its developing bird embryo where it is mixed with 'spicy coconut suka' with salt. When I buy balut, I prefer buying 16 or 17 days.

I can eat balut with a maximum of 10. Sometimes I'm not fun of sharing when it comes to my favorite food. There are lots of food to share, but not this lol. For me, everyone who loves balut in the family can be my competitor in eating. Just kidding!

Mangga

Mangga is a a versatile fruit that’s available year-round in the Philippines. It's the National Fruit of the Philippines also.

When unripe, they’re extremely sour and eaten as a snack or appetizer, usually with a pinch of salt or dipped into a rough paste of tiny fermented shrimp or the 'bagoong', anchovy sauce or "ginamos', toyo and suka, and lots of sauce could match to this delicious. I can eat different kinds of mango but I prefer eating Indian mango and Horse mango.

For me also during travelling, I used to buy mango on terminals before I enter on an air-conditioned vehicle. Mango is my shield to prevent vomiting. I love mango so much!

Whatever types or kinds of food is your favorite, just make sure it won't give you side effects and make sure you'll set limitations in eating. Healthy life is more a wealthy life! Thank you for visiting my blog!
